3 Cost Effective Ways to Solve Metro Manila's Traffic Problem

Image
The Facebook page of ANC 24/7 is asking for its reader's suggestion on how to solve Metro Manila's traffic problem. This got me thinking, "what is the best way to solve Metro Manila's traffic problem?" It's easy to make suggestions, what's hard is the implementation and the cost of implementation. So what is the the best way to solve Metro Manila's traffic problem and the most cost effective solution? Punitive Fines Add caption First of all, any implementation will definitely cost money, a lot of money. The cause of the traffic mess is the people themselves so it's only right that those causing the traffic problem should be fined and the fine should hurt. That way, the fines will pay for the cost of enforcing the law. The fines should start at P500 and goes up every week if you don't pay it within 15 days. To enforce this and prevent people from ignoring the fine. It will be tied to their driver's license or car registr

Korina Sanchez on Mar Roxas' Detractors

Just read this article in the Philippine Daily Inquirer on Korina Sanchez lashing out at critics of Sen. Mar Roxas. She got angry at Conrado de Quiros for saying some candidates are "atat na atat" and she took it personally.

She also got angry at Sen. Francisco "Kiko" Pangilinan for asking Sen. Mar Roxas to give way to Noynoy Aquino who she said owed her big time.

Conrado de Quiros said that he wasn't referring to anybody in particular when he said some candiates are "atat na atat". He also said that Korina Sanchez's behavior is part of her personality.

Conrado de Quiroes said that if spouses and fiancees of candidates wants to make their presence felt, they should "make it positive". Don’t be intrusive because it ruins things. If you are going to be more assertive, might as well do it in a positive side.”

Korina Sanchez said that now that Sen. Mar Roxas has given up on his presidential aspiration, they can now concentrate on their wedding on Oct. 23.

Wow...just wow...why is it that people like to make a big drama out of everything? Based on something as little as this, we see Korina Sanchez fuming up.

I do not know of Korina Sanchez's personality. I've heard some things, but this just cements the things that I hear about her. What happens if she becomes first lady? Would she shout, "off with their heads!" to their critics?

Now that Sen. Mar Roxas has given up his fight to become president, is she angry because she won't become first lady?

If this keeps up, Sen. Mar Roxas will never become president. Not because of his qualifications, but because of Korina Sanchez.

And why is the wedding of Sen. Mar Roxas and Korina Sanchez has to be played up like a fairy tale wedding by the media? What's so special about them?
