I must agree, Christmas is more fun in the Philippines. The lights, the atmosphere, the endless shopping, the food, the parties and people enjoying the Christmas spirit.

If you've never been to the Philippines, one of the best times to visit is Christmas. Sure, you might experience endless traffic because everybody seems to be out shopping, but that's a small inconvenience compared to what you will experience this time of year. Nobody enjoys Christmas as much as Filipinos do.

Make sure you stay until New Year where you'll have people lighting fireworks and making lots of noise.

Oh, and make sure you bring loose pants because you'll surely be eating lots of food for days.
