OK, just to be clear, dirty ice cream is not really “dirty.” The reason it's called "Dirty Ice Cream" is because the way the street cart it comes in looks like. The vendors also push these ice cream carts by foot over long distances and serves the ice cream without gloves, soap or hand sanitizers, So you really don't know if their hands are clean when they hold the ice cream cone and scoop us the ice cream.

However, despite their appearance, these ice cream carts carry the most delicious, sweetest treat for a hot day in the Philippines.

Dirty ice cream usually comes in Cheese, Ube and Chocolate flavors. It has a unique and distinct flavor that you really have to experience!
