3 Cost Effective Ways to Solve Metro Manila's Traffic Problem

Image
The Facebook page of ANC 24/7 is asking for its reader's suggestion on how to solve Metro Manila's traffic problem. This got me thinking, "what is the best way to solve Metro Manila's traffic problem?" It's easy to make suggestions, what's hard is the implementation and the cost of implementation. So what is the the best way to solve Metro Manila's traffic problem and the most cost effective solution? Punitive Fines Add caption First of all, any implementation will definitely cost money, a lot of money. The cause of the traffic mess is the people themselves so it's only right that those causing the traffic problem should be fined and the fine should hurt. That way, the fines will pay for the cost of enforcing the law. The fines should start at P500 and goes up every week if you don't pay it within 15 days. To enforce this and prevent people from ignoring the fine. It will be tied to their driver's license or car registr...

For just $29 million, you can own Michael Jordan’s suburban Chicago estate

Image
From Yahoo! Sports . Michael Jordan's suburban estate went on the market today.   [The estate] includes nine bedrooms, 15 baths and five fireplaces. There's also a three-bedroom guesthouse, pool area, outdoor tennis court and three climate-controlled multi-car garages. An indoor basketball complex features a full-size regulation court with specially cushioned hardwood flooring and competition-quality high intensity lighting. It has a sound system set up to provide perfect acoustics within the court space. It is very perfect that the lighting on Michael Jordan's personal indoor basketball complex (constructed in 2001, in case you were wondering) is "competition-quality" and "high intensity." Also, that it is a "basketball complex," which is precisely what Jordan gave opposing players, coaches and fans (and sometimes those on his side, too) during his illustrious NBA career.   MJ's personal court. Michael Jordan - Air time

Image
To be honest, I got interested in basketball again after watching Jeremy Lin. For the longest time, I haven't watched that much NBA since Michael Jordan retired. That was the last time I watched a lot of NBA games other than The Finals. So while browsing through some Jeremy Lin videos, I saw some old Michael Jordan videos and I came upon this video of Michael Jordan. As anyone will tell you, Michael Jordan is the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time). "Michael Jordan: Air Time" documents Jordan and the Chicago Bulls' 1991-92 season, including Jordan dealing with his friend and rival Magic Johnson's retirement announcement, gambling allegations, talk of the team possibly breaking the long-in-place season win record with 70 victories, filming a music video with Michael Jackson, and other obstacles throughout the course of the year. The video follows this with the "Dream Team" (Jordan and his fellow NBA stars) gaining worldwide attention as they partake and domin...
