3 Cost Effective Ways to Solve Metro Manila's Traffic Problem

Image
The Facebook page of ANC 24/7 is asking for its reader's suggestion on how to solve Metro Manila's traffic problem. This got me thinking, "what is the best way to solve Metro Manila's traffic problem?" It's easy to make suggestions, what's hard is the implementation and the cost of implementation. So what is the the best way to solve Metro Manila's traffic problem and the most cost effective solution? Punitive Fines Add caption First of all, any implementation will definitely cost money, a lot of money. The cause of the traffic mess is the people themselves so it's only right that those causing the traffic problem should be fined and the fine should hurt. That way, the fines will pay for the cost of enforcing the law. The fines should start at P500 and goes up every week if you don't pay it within 15 days. To enforce this and prevent people from ignoring the fine. It will be tied to their driver's license or car registr...

Here's the description. 'Shaping mind and body' About the Keysi Fighting Method Disclaimer..Nothing belongs to me, but their owners No copyright Infrigement Intended KFM is the fighting style which is primarily used by Christian Bale in Batman Begins, and will also be featured in The Dark Knight. Bale had this to say about the martial art: We've gone a bit further with Keysi (...). I'm actually learning how to do it more realistically than ever before, though it's such an extreme way of fighting; there are literally moves where you tear someone's cheek away from their face, or rip their nose off - every part of you becomes a weapon. It's formidable. Batman doesn't kill, so we can't have him doing that; we modify it. "We really wanted something ...

In the ultimate search for a HUMAN WEAPON, mixed martial artist Jason Chambers and football pro Bill Duff put their bodies on the line as they train in the most lethal forms of combat before going toe-to-toe with masters of each fighting style. They travel back to Japan to learn Ninjutsu. They learn different weapons that the ninja used, as well as tactics & warfare. They are studying under Masaaki Hatsumi. According to Wikipedia . Masaaki Hatsumi is the 34th ninjutsu Soke, or Grandmaster, and founder of the Bujinkan Organization, currently residing and teaching in the city of Noda, Chiba, Japan.[3] He is also a doctor of orthopedics, specializing in the mending of bones. Aikido Weapons Training

Image
Have you ever seen a Steven Seagal movie? Of course you have. Do you know what kind of martial arts Steven Seagal uses? It's called Aikido. Aikido is a Japanese martial art developed by Morihei Ueshiba as a synthesis of his martial studies, philosophy, and religious beliefs. Aikido is performed by blending with the motion of the attacker and redirecting the force of the attack rather than opposing it head-on. This requires very little physical strength, as the aikidōka (aikido practitioner) "leads" the attacker's momentum using entering and turning movements. The techniques are completed with various throws or joint locks. Aikido can be categorized under the general umbrella of grappling arts. See this demonstration by Steven Seagal on the Merv Griffin show. I really loved watching Steven Seagal when I was younger. Then I saw this movie where he was using a weapon. I wanted to learn how to use a weapon like that. There was also this movie he made called Mark...

‘Arnis’ is now national martial art

Well this is certainly welcome news. =================== MANILA, Philippines—It’s time Filipinos learned the basics of the native martial art arnis. President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has signed a law declaring arnis as the national martial art and sport and mandating that an arnis competition be the first to be played at the annual national games. Arnis—derived from the Spanish word “arnes,” which literally means armor—is known nationwide and even in other countries. But it often plays second fiddle to the foreign martial arts taekwondo, judo and karate in terms of prominence. This martial art involves the use of one or a pair of wooden sticks as a weapon and a training tool meant to simulate a knife or a sword. Also known as eskrima, kali and garrote, and by various other names in the Philippine regions, it is characterized by the use of swinging and twirling movements, accompanied by striking, thrusting and parrying techniques for defense and offense. Bare-hand fighting ...
