3 Cost Effective Ways to Solve Metro Manila's Traffic Problem

Image
The Facebook page of ANC 24/7 is asking for its reader's suggestion on how to solve Metro Manila's traffic problem. This got me thinking, "what is the best way to solve Metro Manila's traffic problem?" It's easy to make suggestions, what's hard is the implementation and the cost of implementation. Mitchell Marcus is manager of his school’s basketball team, the Coronado High School Thunderbirds. Due to a developmental disability he’s never been able to take part in a game. However, for the last game of the season, his coach Pete Morales told him to suit up. He didn’t expect to actually play, but just wearing the jersey with his teammates was a thrill in itself. Mitchell didn't know but coach Morales was going to put him in the game at the end of the fourth quarter, regardless of the score. With just over a minute left, Mitchell was put onto the court for the first time, and set up shop near the net. His teammates passed him the ball a number of times, but he was never able to make a basket. During his last attempt, the ball went out of bounds. With just seconds left in the game, it looked like he wouldn’t get another chance. Then, one of the finest acts of sportsmanship you’ll ever see occurred. Watch.
