RH bill, Ateneo, and La Salle: Of lemons and cowards

Saw this editorial from UST's school newspaper The Varsitarian . It has created a lot of controversy when the writer or writers called the Ateneo and De La Salle professors “intellectual pretenders and interlopers" when they stood for the RH Bill. It was quite brave of the professors to stand for what they believe in considering they are working for a religious school who are most likely . But was The Varsitarian correct to label these professors as such? The Varsitarian in the editorial states that "Professors who are affiliated with UST must respect the stand of the University against the RH bill as they are part of an institution which is fundamentally bound with Catholic faith and teachings. If UST professors don’t agree with the stand of the CBCP, then they have a problem. UST Singers Win Choir of the World 2010

The University of Santo Tomas Choir won the Choir of the World competition in UK as well as 14 other 1st place wins in several other European contest. They last won the contest in 1995 and has the distinction of being thea the only group to have won the contest twice. Here's a sample of one of their performances. You can find more on Youtube.
