"Jeeploma" by Paul Taladtad The above painting is the Grand Prize winner of the recently concluded 32nd DPC-PLDT Visual Arts Competition . The artwork is entitled "Jeeploma" with the description "Jeeploma is consist of two different word, jeep and deploma(sic), which depict the hard working of our jeepney driver in order finish the study of his children." The theme of this years competition is "Pinoy Pride" and what else would bring a Pinoy more pride than to see their children graduate from University. This artwork is quite moving since Jeepney drivers are not known to make a lot of money. This painting show how, through hard work, a Jeepney driver was able to raise this children and pay for their college education. This work was created by Paul Taladtad , 24, a third-year Fine Arts student at the Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP). Spray paint art is an art form using spray paint, traditionally on posterboard. It differs from graffiti art in that graffiti is performed on buildings, trains and the like, as opposed to more traditional art surfaces. This is a unique form of art that is generally performed on the street in large metropolitan cities creating surreal landscapes of planets, comets, pyramids, cities, nature scenes, etc.

Bruce Blitz is the creator and host of this four-time Emmy-Nominated Television series, Cartooning with Blitz. This fast-paced cartooning variety show features comic strips, cartoon portraits, animal drawings, and spinning the Wheel of Features, which can create over 100,000 cartoon faces. Bruce Blitz also welcomes celebrity guest cartoonists to his studio, and takes viewers on fascinating trips like the Museum of Cartoon Art and Busch Gardens. Another big draw for audiences of all ages is the "Doodle Trick" segment where Bruce shows viewers how to take simple shapes, numbers, letters, even words and turn them into wacky cartoons. I love watching this show when I was a kid, trying to learn how to draw. Never really got good at it though. Of all the shows I've seen, this drawing Popeye is the one I remember most.

My jaw dropped when I saw this video. Before the mid 2000s, pole dancing was mostly popular in strip clubs. But pole dancing is actually a form of performing art, a combination of dance and gymnastics. It involves dancing and performing acrobatic tricks with a vertical pole. There are many professional competition held in many countries around the world and promoters of fitness competitions have been trying to change peoples’ perception of pole dance and to promote it as a legitimate form of dance and acrobatics.

Saw this thought it was brilliant. Certainly takes latte art to the next level. Another one.
