I've always been a big fan of the Calvin and Hobbes comic strip. The stips I enjoy the most are ones where Calvin builds his snowmen. This video was created by Jim Frommeyer and Teague Christie, and pays tribute to "Calvin & Hobbes" and its creator, Bill Watterson. The iconic snowmen are what Calvin would often make around the holidays to the chagrin of his parents.

I've been trying to get back in shape and was browsing around Youtube to see what I can do and I came upon this. I was too distracted to pay attention to the lessons.

I found this Youtube video that shows some scenes from Transformers 3 came from the movie The Island which was released in 2005. Down to the same stunts, cars and explosions.

This crazy pilot did a low pass fly by a few feet of the ground. Crazy? Yes!

5 military police officers have been arrested in northern Brazil after a 2010 security camera video of them shooting a 14-year-old boy several times comes to light. The officers say they had been questioning the boy about a neighborhood crime. The boy was shot through the lung and was in intensive care for 10 days. The boy and his family was so afraid they moved to another neighborhood and did not report the incident out of fear. When this video came out and shown in the news. The boy and his family has been put into witness protection program.

Alexandra Wallace posted this video below on Youtube with a 3 minute tirade against Asians. The titled the video "Asians in the library". You know, some people are just plain stupid. If you think the world has a bad view of Americans, she's not exactly doing her part to help clean up that image. Free speech is one thing. But some times, you just have to keep the opinion to yourself. Update: She did post an apology on Monday. She said, "Clearly the original video posted by me was inappropriate. I cannot explain what possessed me to approach the subject as I did, and if I could undo it, I would. I'd like to offer my apology to the entire UCLA campus. For those who cannot find it within them to accept my apology, I understand."

During the massive flood happening in Metro Manila that was caused by Typhoon Ondoy, there was very little updates on major news organizations like The Philippine Daily Inquirer. I found out about how bad the typhoon was from conversations with my friends through Yahoo Messenger. As I logged on to Facebook, I was getting continuous updates on friend's wall on details of the flood. I checked Inquirer.net and other sites but there was hardly any mention. There were reports of the flood, but there wasn't any photos or videos. As the situation got worst, he was telling me their parking lot is flooded and it's still rising. He had to move his car out to higher ground to save it. I asked him to take some photos because he said that it never floods in Ongpin. I couldn't believe it either since the 20 years I've been there, I've never seen it flood higher than one inch. Here he was telling me it's up to his knees.
