This is Angelito Manguray. He is a 40 year old Filipino doctor who is an MMA fighter.

Very talented..., he doesn't swing to widely, and knows how to get the job done. I also like the open handed fighting. Those announcers were surprised about it. Unlike boxing gloves, MMA gloves are made, so you can grab. I wonder if open palm strikes are legal. Aside from this fight, I've never seen someone use 1. You easily break somebody nose like that. The only thing that he needs to work on, is his conditioning. He was pretty winded at the end. Of course the man's 40.

The other day, I was watching TV Patrol and for that half hour the three major news event was former President Gloria Arroyo house arrest. The disbarment case against Sec. Just read this article on Inquirer.net about Globe complaining that the PLDT and Digitel merger would create a monopoly. PLDT chair Manuel V. Pangilinan on Tuesday hit out at Globe, accusing the Ayala group of monopolistic business practices. “PLDT is not allowed to install phone services inside malls and real estate developments (owned by the Ayala group), despite the clamor from their tenants,” Pangilinan said, noting that Globe was allowed to offer telecom services in these areas. The Ayala group, through its Ayala Land unit, is one of the country’s largest property developers. It operates shopping malls in Metro Manila, Cebu and Pampanga.
