OK, just to be clear, dirty ice cream is not really “dirty.” The reason it's called "Dirty Ice Cream" is because the way the street cart it comes in looks like. The vendors also push these ice cream carts by foot over long distances and serves the ice cream without gloves, soap or hand sanitizers, So you really don't know if their hands are clean when they hold the ice cream cone and scoop us the ice cream.
