Norway Is Best Place In The World To Live

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) index for 2009 showed Norway to be the best place to live.

Norway is followed by Australia, Iceland, Canada and Ireland for second, third, fourth and fifth place. The United States is number 13.

The Philippines is number 105 behind Thailand, Iran, China, Tonga, Jamaica and Algeria.

Fernando Cueto Amorsolo (May 30, 1892 – April 24, 1972) is one of the most important artists in the history of painting in the Philippines. Amorsolo was a portraitist and painter of rural Philippine landscapes. He is popularly known for his craftsmanship and mastery in the use of light. Born in Paco, Manila, he earned a degree from the Liceo de Manila Art School in 1909. Fernando Amorsolo, Self-portrait He is the Philippines' first National Artist in Painting (1972), the so-called "Grand Old Man of Philippine Art", Amorsolo earned a degree from the Liceo de Manila Art School in 1909 and entered the University of the Philippines' (UP) School of Fine Arts. He graduated with honors from the UP in 1914 and got study grant in Madrid, Spain.
