This got me thinking, "what is the best way to solve Metro Manila's traffic problem?" It's easy to make suggestions, what's hard is the implementation and the cost of implementation. So what is the the best way to solve Metro Manila's traffic problem and the most cost effective solution? The cause of the traffic mess is the people themselves so it's only right that those causing the traffic problem should be fined and the fine should hurt. That way, the fines will pay for the cost of enforcing the law. The fines should start at P500 and goes up every week if you don't pay it within 15 days. The Pinking of Metro Manila

"I love pink, pink makes things pretty. Only a real man, a macho gwapo man can wear pink with pride. I'm macho and gwapo and I'm in charge of Metro Manila so I'm not afraid to make people know I'm man enough to use pink.

That is why I put pink in everything. I put fences to separate the lanes since drivers are too stubborn to follow the lanes. But I paint them pink so they know I did it. Who cares if it's not visible at night? I don't care about safety as long as people know I did it so they will remember me when I run for President.

I put pink on the pedestrian overpasses, so they will know that the MMDA is responsible for it. I put pink on the sidewalk, so people will know where the sidewalk starts and where it ends because they're too dumb to know what is a sidewalk. I put Metro Gwapo logos everywhere since I'm in charge of Metro Manila and I'm gwapo. I want Metro Manila to be gwapo like me. Besides, it's not my money I'm spending.


And damn it! I love pink and if I can make the whole Philippines pink I will do it. I'm in charge, I'm head of the MMDA, I'm macho, I'm gwapo and that makes me right and nobody can do anything about it!"

Fernando Cueto Amorsolo (May 30, 1892 – April 24, 1972) is one of the most important artists in the history of painting in the Philippines. Amorsolo was a portraitist and painter of rural Philippine landscapes. He is popularly known for his craftsmanship and mastery in the use of light. Born in Paco, Manila, he earned a degree from the Liceo de Manila Art School in 1909. Fernando Amorsolo, Self-portrait He is the Philippines' first National Artist in Painting (1972), the so-called "Grand Old Man of Philippine Art", Amorsolo earned a degree from the Liceo de Manila Art School in 1909 and entered the University of the Philippines' (UP) School of Fine Arts.
